Moderate magnitude 4.5 earthquake 22 km northwest of Mataram, Indonesia

Just 6 minutes ago, a 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck near Mataram, Kota Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The tremor was recorded in the afternoon on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, at 4:35 pm local time, at a shallow depth of 12. km below the surface.
The event was filed by Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency, the first seismological agency to report it.
