A magnitude 4.9 earthquake near Dompu, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, was reported only 19 minutes ago by the United States Geological Survey, considered one of the key international agencies that monitor seismic activity worldwide. The earthquake occurred at an intermediate to considerable depth of 164.75 km beneath the epicenter in the morning on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, at 11:31 am local time.
