Moderate 4.5 quake hits near Dompu, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred only 5 minutes ago 70 km south of Dompu, Indonesia, Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency reported.
The quake hit at a very shallow depth of 8. km beneath the epicenter near Dompu, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, late at night on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at 10:49 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
