Yesterday, two Boeing E/A-18G Growlers collided mid-air during an airshow demonstration at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.
All four pilots successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US14A (NACES) Ejection Seat.
The EA-18G Growler’s historical unit procurement cost is about $67–80 million USD per aircraft (latest lots around $79–80M inflation-adjusted).
Foreign military sales (like Australia’s replacement jet) have been quoted up to $125M including support/equipment.
Replacement today would likely fall in that ballpark.
