I have programed the dreambox keyboard to do my Nokias and it does all functions of the Dreambox plus more. Press the yellow button and a menu comes up, I select web browser hit enter, the web browser is up on the TV, hit menu on the keyboard, hity "F" for file and away i go... Once you select aus-city its fully up on my TV in 5 seconds, Only the resolution problem has to be sorted out and I have been told how to do it but I think I need a REST!! and someone with more brains then me to. This Resolution modifications requires someone with GOOD telnet experience.
The standard Dreambox has 64mb onboard and i have added another 512mb as the web browser is stored in the USB stick plugged in the rear. I could have used an internal hard drive but living in QLD heat is a factor so i decided to use a USB stick. Xbox hard drives are best suited for this as they are 10gig and pull less than 400mA and generate little heat.

The dreambox can be used for heaps of things and using it to Browse the net is just one in a hundred things these marvellous boxes can do, If most of you would know what these boxes can do you all would be shocked. I did a job over a guys place and he had cardsharing on TV plus + foxtel and get this it was NDS not Irdeto as that he said irdet was for the Novices and anybody can do that, he also had all the French channels on Intelsat 701 + XXL + Every other service available that the footprint covers in australia
One box with over 150 Channels in it. Buy the way tv plus's pink plus is still a shocker, worst of all the 100+ channels. Mate the serb guy knew what he was talking about.

We have smart young lads at Uni that cant understand these boxes , It takes a Special type of computer nerd to understand them.
Its a pity you can't use them on Mentor for UBI, funny thing is as far as I know they will work on any card in the world including Foxtels greatest NDS.
They will card share over the net anything on this planet but you guys have a hide to laugh at UBI's encryption and the Dreambox will not read a Mentor UBI card nor you can card share it. so think about that.

Just testing guys Phil here Testing more toys and getting more use of the Dreambox Keyboard so when you see "Phil's dreambox talking" you know my computers are turned off, you know I'm in front of all my tellies's with a cup of tea, some buscuits, laying on the lounge and enjoying my monitors all on at the same time with The Dreambox Keyboard at my side checking all my favourites site.
I have learnt a lot on the settings of these Dreambox keyboards that are critical for use on the big TV
what a life!
