It all depends whether its an advertising forum for UBI or a free speech forum, I think that has to be established first before anyone can make a judgement

Here we are, curse and port scanning, Middle Ages are joining 21 Century . Just joking, Phil, I know, some people quite serious about this stuff
But if serious, what stops me from joining Private forum even if I've got really bad intentions. You are not checking everyone you signing in - you just can not technically do it if, off course, you have not got friends in FBI

See, I have known Phil for many years. Many years ago his Holden Ute got stolen and got burnt to the ground. Phil was outraged. He did find out who was responsible, they were three young kids under the age of 15 who stole the car. But as all know, the law can do nothing these days, just rap them over the knuckles. Three weeks after Phil's car was found the same three kids stole another car, the police were giving them chase, they lost control of the car and hit a power pole, two died instantly and one survived. The one that survived later was put into a boys home. The irony of all this was that the power pole that they hit fed the 11,000 volts to Quakers Hill sewerage treatment plant and you wouldn't believe Phil's luck, he was on standby that weekend so he got called out when there was no power at the treatment plants, only to find the police, ambulance and a blocked road. He was allowed of course in the treatment plant, restoring power on the backup supply and the both of us made plenty of money. Funny, isn't it, what a coincidence. Now, for the third kid that got away, he resided in the boys home, see he kicked a ball up on the roof, he climbed the roof but slid down and fell across the three phase wires, I don't have to tell you what happened to him. I don't believe in curses but I heard what Phil said to his mother that night over the phone after his car got stolen.
Fred

Hi Phil, Its an upsetting story what Fred wrote above. Sorry to hear what happened to those kids and you car. From his story, I realise you're working at Q'Hill STP. You might remember me from the plant's PLC&Scada upgrade projects that I was running as Siemens Project Engineer when Caster was in charge of the plant "I do not know if he is still in charge". They used to call me King as my name is Faruk and reminds most people the egyptian King Faruk but with one minor differance I'm Turkish.

They were ripped off buy paying outragious prices for spares.

Phil, I finished most of that site from Digesters, DeWatering to TPR, all been fully upgraded from controllers to Scada screens, all replaced with S7-416 with Profibus-DP/PA & ASI Bus architecture with fully remote system control capability, even valves were Profibus-DP type with 0%-100% open/close control and feedback. VSDs you mentioned were probably the old ones as all new gear were with full replacement warranty but offcourse there is a pricy critical spare parts list to keep the plant running without need of a part. Anyway, my word is not to defend myself or Siemens rather to mention what has been done so far. But, as you said, some of their contractors as we call the three man band, does the job wyhout any proper insurance and when something needs to be changed, here the catch all the way ripping off.

Phil, Do you know Jeff Debono? He might be still with PPA. I left one of my baby Project to him when I left Siemens and went to Europe for some Intl. projects just over a year ago.
