Hi F****as,<br />I did not think I wuld have to defend my words to this extent but I am delighted that it has attarcted your attention.<br />You should read my reply to Dada as it explain my thoughts on the matter.<br />To be perfectly honest , all I am after is the IRIB for my kids in order for them to learn Farsi. I am not a political animal and I am not in exile here as I regularly travel to Iran and I like the place but I choose to live in Australia.<br /><br />By the way I do not consider AFN or NITV as the ENEMY as every one is entitled to their opinion. By listening to people like you, AFN and NITV and IRIB I can make my own judgemnet on any specific matter.Your points are correct, true and valid but I like IPTR because it is not someone from the other side of the world as it is my voice and yours. We all have to learn to listen to ach other and learn. I do not normally listen to the political stuff since I have not got any idea whom they are taking about all I am intersted is decent and clean programmes about history, art and literature which NITV have some good stuff and IRIB has good programmes.<br />I agree with you when they winge all the time about everything and waste your time.<br />But it is worth having a look at them all. That is why now I watch AFN. For the few hours a day that they have programmes it is excellent. <br /><br />When Tarbs closed like many other people I got myself a C Band dish and now enjoy the IRIB3 but the problem I have is the interfernce which is getting steadily worst in large cities and I think in 4 years tim it would be impossible to watch IRIB on a large dish.<br />That is why I think IRIB3 should be free to airthrough a reputable company that would be here today and tomorrow.<br /><br />I am not against UBI but I have bad experience with TARBS and would not let them any where near my house. I certainly have enjoyed reading your comments and leant from it. So thank you for your time

I was told by IRIB that they have not signed off any deal so far and UBI does not have the right to the IRIB broadcast. So I am not going to rush on this.<br />In any case I would rather watch it on the internet right now even if UBI were to encrypt.

Yes we know that was said earlier in this thread were talking about IRIB3 on UBI not AS2

This is about IRIB 3 on Ku band. The only way that more than 50% of Iranian community can watch a channel from Iran (not from USA).

You may be a UBI fan and I am not. It does not mean that I have less respect for your opnion because of it. I did not say that you are lying or found any aspect of your statement as being untrue.<br /><br />As far as Tapesh goes you need to Ask Mr Dastyari guy whom I have listened to in his Monday programme regarding Tapesh and yes I have seen it with my own eyes the documnet that he is refering to as it is pasted on every Persian shops in Sydney. If you live in Sydney then you can go there and see it. Is it True or not I do not know and quite frankly it is not being jusged here by me. We can all make up our own mind on that.<br /><br />IRIB belong to the govenment of IR of Iran and as such we know excatly who pays for the programme and what they are trying to acheive, which again I respect that too.<br /><br />As far as the flag goes I hate to say this that your statement is not correct as a flag prior to Islamic revloution was Iranian flag for well over three hundred years (dates back to Safavi era) and after the Shah Abbas Safavi they have added the sword to it rather than just being the Lion and the sun. <br />All groups, Repulican, Monarchist, parlimantray monarchist, MKO and lots of other opposition group use that as their flag, which is again fine by me.<br />For your information I absolutely detest the MKO group for hat they stand for as a collaborators. I respect all Pay TV companies but I am only the boss of my money.I like to speak up when I see political motivations are misused for business proposes. <br /><br />I was just to show you only one of the paradoxes that IPTR has about Tapesh and IRIB3. No matter how much advertisement is done by Pro former regime people who do not understand democracy. It is obvious that Mr Dastyari is misleading people on this issue and just repeat NITV views. Only because they are jules on Tapesh TV.<br /><br />I should say that you are presenting general knowledge about the flag. There is no doubt that the official flag of the country (under current regime) is not the one that IPTR shows. That is my point. This flag is been used by those who want to overthrow the current regime (Enemy to Iranian government)and IPTR is only trying to make business and money out of it.
