I was saying that just to support you darth ....

You know in serbian we say "Potpisujem tvoj stav ...." or "Potpisujem to sto si rekao ..." u znak slaganja.

But then again I understand why you did not catch my meaning, I think you are born here and don't know actually 100% your people or its customs and says ...
I wonder then what you find interesting in ethic tv's

[ 13. Ja,

I know exactly what you meant. I chose, however not to affiliate myself with anyone, especially on this forum. I have some friends here but it seems more enemies, as I do know how to rub people the wrong way and the rest of them are just plainly psychopaths!

In actual fact I wasn’t born here but your close. As for Serbian culture, language and customs are concerned I could give any Serb here in Aus a good run for their money (ask around).

Ethnic TV. I have very little interest in it. Pink TV I would not watch if my life depended on it! Fact is, if it weren’t for my family, friends and community, I would not even bother with it.

Satellite technology fascinates me and I also have a degree in microelectronics. So If I have to pay for the content and recommend it to all, I’m going to make absolutely sure I/they get the best deal!

mrgood,

TARBS is long gone. Dead!

UBI is a new venture by the former owner of TARBS and multiple private investors. Do you think Mr B wanted TARBS gone? No! If you were on L6 on the last day of TARBS you would know the full story.

Maybe they should have just asked UBI about their successful encryption. UBI might as well just continue broadcasting FTA.

Fred,
I'm back! to cut the long story short here. If you have any problem with the ppl who abuse the system than there is allways a way to stop them. You as an installer, have an important role in the ethnic community as great help to solve their problems by connecting dishes and their channels. Why do you make it such a big thing and make fun of those ppl/blame them for one incident and make them small in the ethnic community. Ppl don't care abouth the names but the ethnic background and based on your stories, they are the ones gets the kick here. My point was simple and clear as there is no such freedom when talking abouth some minority like 5-6 ppl then generalising that to blame the whole race for the same reason. Having a free speech does not give you any right to dicriminate or to put the serbs down here. Thanks...

[ 17. Dreambox's cost about $1000 a pop.
Subscription per year is what? $300-400?

So where is the math? Don't be stupid Fred! The Dreambox and the remote on the table have been bought long before TV+ came around. I suggest Au$tar/Fox was being...let's say previewed No idiot will fork out $1000 bucks when he doesn't even know how long TV+ may or may not last.
Vlad...

Boring,

Yep, I agree, but what I tried to point out is that those Dreamboxes Fred saw were there long before TV+.

So when I get my 7025S Dreambox, it wont be because I want to scam TV+ or whatever...if you catch my drift here

Vlad...

Darth
Didn't want to tell the full story buy I might as well tell it in brief, 5 installations I did the customer wanted a new dish pointed at Pas 8 but they already had a dish and I expect it was pointing at optus C1, Now why would you want another dish when you got a dish there already?. So what you have is a nice looking TV cabinet with a spare position with no box in it, you have a ethernet cable on the ground behind the cabinet, you have a RG-6 cable sitting there doing nothing, and you have a dreambox hand control sitting on the table just sitting there.
Darth !!! you said $1000 for a dreambox its not worth it, well look at this way, these families no doubt are sharing foxtel already so why not share the rest that on pas 8 and like I said the installs I did were all related thats how I got the job, I quoted for the 5 installs.
I can see that most on these forums haven't got a clue what a dreambox can do.
just imagine this
I have a friend in Darwin he picks up and watches for free
1/Aurora
2/Austar
3/Dream TV on Agila what a great Pay TV service
4/Zee TV on Asiasat 3 and he doesn't even watch it , he just gets it for the fun of it
5/Anything on intelsat 701 yes that includes XXL and all the french channels.
Yes all on one box using a Diseqce switch for plenty of dishes.
Darth the dreambox is only as good as your brains will allow it to be and I bet you in Australia some have better setups then my friends.
And you say $1000 is not worth it, mine only cost around $730 each from Austech 18 months ago.
Fred

Thanks...

Fred, I'm still waiting for your answer....Read my post and act how you feel like but do not forget what you wrote before!
