[/]<br /><br />Yes best off watch it FTA for as long as you can and just wait and see what happens with your channels ;)<br /><br />The MYTV Plus channels were encrypted at one stage when they were using NSS6 but since moving to Asiasat 4 they haven't encrypted there channels...

The only problem, if we will not sign with the new company now it will disappear and then Panamsat can switch Pas8 channels off. As a result we will be left without Russian service at all.

Well sign up but dont pay no more then a month in advance and dont pay until channels are fully encrypted i think this is best way

Horizon World+ TV have just taken the direct debit off me for the month . They have not charged me the full amount normally $58.30. They charged me $41.<br />Interesting comparing quality of pictures on AS4 with PAS8.I agree with Kostya, PAS8 definitely better quality picture.

ummmm why are u letting them stil continue to pull money from your account??<br /><br />the service is FTA on 2 satellites i wouldt be paying them nothing until they get there act together and have a full service back on...

Umm. Because my bank, (Eastpac) will not stop payment of direct debit.WTF !! I will have to ring them and state my card is lost. This will stop direct debit as i will get issued new card with new number.

yeh do something as who knows how long this will go on for with Horizons ....<br /><br />or ring Horizons and disconnect and reconnect if and when there service is fully operational again

Horizon world have just changed their website. 2 different packages.<br /><br />Package 1 - $64 dollars (RTR Planeta,NTV,RTVI and Israel+.)<br /><br />Package 2 $74. (Perviy Kanal,RTR Planeta,NTV, RTVI,Israel+ and 2 RAdio channels)<br /><br />I don't know if it includes GST or that is extra. But selection of channels down and more expensive

Yeh it would include GST<br /><br />Also notice how there is no sign of Horizons name or Logo on that site anymore me thinks Horizons is now no longer able to trade under that name and everything will be thru there new name Connect TV<br /><br />Seems abit steep in price to me ... <br /><br />Also what has happened to Inter +, REN TV and Russian Illuision channels??

I bet the number of subscribers drops off dramatically.Me for one!! Before I had 8 channels for $58 dollars , now they expect us to pay $74 for 5 channels. (My wife only really wants Perviy Kanal) Who are they kidding?? MyTVPlus customers were paying $38.50. How are they going to take to a dramatic price increase, now that it is up to $64 for the basic channels!

If you got C-Band or have room for a C-Band dish dont forget Asiasat 2 has RTR Planeta FTA which to what ive read around numerous sites this channel will remain FTA on there

I know RTR Planeta is FTA on AS2.If only Perviy kanal would remain on<br />Express A2 @103E with enough signal strength to reach Melbourne I could talk my missus into the C Band Dish. I've been waiting for an excuse(Perviy Kanal on A2) to get her to agree to it. At the moment with 3 KU Band dishes around the house , she is not to keen for another one.!!

I've just rang Commbank and had the same answer. I can not cancel direct debit - it have to be canceled by company receiving money. Interesting, I can not control my own credit card.

May be, but it may cost as monthly subscription. Not shure how much bank charge for this.<br />I'll try to terminate contract. Anyway my fixed term 12 months have finished long time ago.<br />BTW, how much for basic C-dish setut?

C-Band frequencies are like 3564 or 4020 for example while Ku Band are 12456 etc<br /><br />I dont think Express A2 reaches Melbourne as Joffa is having a similar problem maybe the satellite shop might be able to confirm this but i heard its a pretty weak signal from it and is not very reliable

I hope Panamsat will keep some Russian channels on Pas8. RTR PLaneta is free for anyone to retranslate. <br />I also noticed there are ORT Perviy Kanal and NTV America on 12525 V on B3 Irdeto 2 encripted. It's interesting who is charging for them?

May be they trying to say that they still exist. Channels are back on Pas8 so they can continue to charge us. BTW most of subscribers have no idea what is going on and who brought these channels back to Pas8.
