just wanted to let u guyz no that anyone with an old tarbs box can still use it regardless of being with ubi(tarbs).i still am using mine on optus B3 at 12525 30000(V) getting fta's for eg.Abu Dabi & Oman etc...have faith dont get rid of them there worth some money if u still have one (the black box)sorry dont no the model no.i saw one on ebay last week out of melbourne it sold for $61.00 plus postage believe it or not just thought u might want to no...

I wonder if ubi is still trying to lock them up?

Have you tried it on UBI freqs?

There is no MDS Data streams being transmitted anymore on B3 so they cant lock them up anymore

I tryed a few weeks ago to load up UBI onto it and see what happens but since all freqs are networked the memory on the box cant fit all the channels in so it just resets to defaults old UBI settings and does nothing but still works fine for Globecast etc

Lazer is absolutely right now all it does is reset to the default settings works great but u can only use it for one frequency at a time.

in saying that a while a go they did lock the box on me mind u i had purchased the box from them when they offered it to there customers but that didnt matter to them the only way was to reconnect with them over the phone when they unlocked the box i quickly switch the frequencies on them and when they sent the paper work through i told them i had changed my mind and that was that they didnt let up easy but in seeing they didnt have anything on paper that is my signature they soon gave up!

just had to give them a taste of there own medicine shifty ha!
