This is an email I recieved just moments ago from a person who reads this forum he did't want to post it himself and wanted to remain anonymous so I'am posting this on his behalf Dear lazersat
Just wanted to inform you with my experience with the TV Plus service recently if you wish to post this on the forum I would like to be kept anonymous for personal reasons
The picture quality of TVPlus is absolutely atrocious, there is NO other word for it! If the service isn't connected to a 15 year old set, then don't bother subscribing. If you're watching it through anything made recently, then you'll be thoroughly disappointed. It's honestly like you're watching an internet feed (is TVPlus actually using the internet to get the signal over?). It's an absolute joke that such a service exists in the 21st century, and that you're actually forking out 60 bucks a month. I do not recommend TVPlus to anyone with a decent television. If you can get your hands on a 34cm black and white TV then go for it, otherwise stay well away!
Regards With Held

HAHA not good for TVPlus. The picture quality is pretty bad and I'm watching on a pretty old TV. I feel sorry for anyone updating to LCD or plasma.

You should see try viewing BN on a 42" widecreen (119cm)hehe.
I am watching Macedonia TV (MTV) on streming, and it is better than BN.

Picture keeps freezing on good ol DMSat and A1, although I'm guessing this is all part of the 'testing' aka what's going to happen from now on! No Pink Extra for the last few days...someone forget to pay the bill?

Sure they're not perfect, but who is these days. They're a young company just starting out, it takes alot of time and money to get things going, it's only a matter of time before they sort everything out.

Ohh so nearly 3 years in operation and they cant even sort out the simply things like running channels 24/7 let alone syncing audio with lips and actually being able to watch the channels on a decent size tv without goin blind should i go on...... If they haven't sorted all these things out by now they never will and if you think otherwise your dreaming.... LOL TV Plus need to pull there fingers out and stop being tightarses and spend real money on improving the service cause $65 a month for 5 channels which hardly work people are paying good money they should get a reliable and watchable service ....

Not so much quality this time, the signal keeps dropping out. It's not that the strength is too low, the signal just drops out.

One word " Quality " thats the best way to describe the TV Plus service only comparable to low bit rate internet streams hey.... it might be cutting out cause it needs to buffer LOL as there channels do look like low bit rate internet streams LOL :P

Did'nt someone years ago say they were going to fix it. Haaaaa You have more chance of getting an heart transplant in QLD with limited donors than what tv plus has to fix its crappy picture quality.

The slot that was left when BKTV left has been filled in with a time delay/tapped version of Pink Extra. Stay classy TV Plus!

Exactly lazersat I dont think ppl should be bitchin too much about it if it is free! However watching BN last night they suddenly cut the live program and started a slight delay of about maybe 10 min u can just tell how the clarity of the signal reduced instantly and it is still delayed plus the signal is choppy too now ..sound & pic outta sync

It also seems DM Sat is on delay. The speeding up and slowing down of the footage is clear evidence we're watching a tape.

Would't waste your time with that they will just forward it to TV Plus and TV Plus would just ignore/deny or make an excuse for it....

Big problems today for Pay Tv companies and TV Minus is the worst offender.
There is a big push today for all to update to the new Full High Definition tv's of 1929x1080 res but honestly you have to look what Foxtel looks like on a 70 inch high def TV that looks magic on local 1080I transmissions, Foxtel its a joke!. Well today I spotted TV Plus on a customers sharp 65 Inch Plasma and It has to be the worst picture quality that I have ever witnessed in my entire life. It will be mega years before Satellite TV has High definition. Now this is for sure these poor quality compressed video channels look the worst on the new quality sets of today.
