Please all!!!! stop sending me emails on my aus-city account. BIGPOND in their wisdom have block port 25 being used to send my mail. This was done to stop their problem with spam which inadvertently has stuffed me up.
I have spoken to bigpond and I'm writing a letter of complaint to bigpond in Pennant Hills Sydney.
So what I have here is a forum that receives mail but can't send any back, IS THIS SERVICE????.
Phillip Debono.

What else do you expect from telstra/bigpond arrogance, are other providers blocking their ports?
Do you notice I don't use capitals for telstra and bigpond, THEY DON'T DESERVE IT.
We disconnected from them 6 months ago, all my Dad's surgeries have switched to Optus.
Cathy.

Hah.. talk about telstra being idiots. I'm interested in getting broadband (not with telstra of course) so I ordered a Line transposition to test my line to see if I can get new copper as I am on another horrible thing.. pair gain. This happened about 2 weeks ago. Suzy, the operator said hey yeh that'll happen in 10 working days.. yeh right. So I complain on their website. Oh yes it'll be 6 weeks at the most. Yes im sure that'll happen as well... Damn telstra, Ive heard iPrimus might be makin their own network, with a max of 24Mb/s(megabits per second), as well as Optus wanting to make their own network as well. We can only hope...

No Stuff Telstra, Go to Swiftel. I have already converted a few to Swiftel, If you can get ADSL don't even consider telstra/bigpond. As for pair gains what a joke, you are getting half a line but paying 100% in your bill for line rental.
Only 2 weeks agao I had it out with telstra about pair gains to one of the people I teach computers at home. They say your voice is ok, in other words up yours.
You know eventually we will get ADSL and I definitely won't be with Telstra/Bigpond and for the way I have been treated because of my Aus-city mail problem and I will encourage everyone else to leave Telstra and go elsewhere.

Go to
http://www.swiftel.com.au/
Phil

[ 27. No as if I'd go with telstra twice, i already made that mistake once (dial-up) I'm interested in Aanet, cheaps as and my friend has been getting good service. Now telstra dropping its broadband prices to $29.95... But they don't say, other than fine print, that it is only for 200MB, that's like a days worth for my friend lol
