BIGPOND in their wisdom have block port 25 being used to send my mail. I'm interested in getting broadband (not with telstra of course) so I ordered a Line transposition to test my line to see if I can get new copper as I am on another horrible thing.. pair gain. This happened about 2 weeks ago. Suzy, the operator said hey yeh that'll happen in 10 working days.. yeh right. So I complain on their website. Oh yes it'll be 6 weeks at the most. Yes im sure that'll happen as well... Damn telstra, Ive heard iPrimus might be makin their own network, with a max of 24Mb/s(megabits per second), as well as Optus wanting to make their own network as well. We can only hope...

I have already converted a few to Swiftel, If you can get ADSL don't even consider telstra/bigpond. As for pair gains what a joke, you are getting half a line but paying 100% in your bill for line rental.<br />Only 2 weeks agao I had it out with telstra about pair gains to one of the people I teach computers at home. They say your voice is ok, in other words up yours.<br />You know eventually we will get ADSL and I definitely won't be with Telstra/Bigpond and for the way I have been treated because of my Aus-city mail problem and I will encourage everyone else to leave Telstra and go elsewhere.<br /><br />Go to<br />http://www.swiftel.com.au/<br />Phil<br /> <br /> <small>[ 27. Now telstra dropping its broadband prices to $29.95... But they don't say, other than fine print, that it is only for 200MB, that's like a days worth for my friend lol
