Moderate magnitude 4.3 quake hits 45 km southwest of Huetamo de Nuñez, Mexico in the morning 4.3 quake 14 Mar 11:45 am (GMT -6) An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred only 24 minutes ago 45 km southwest of Huetamo de Nuñez, Mexico, Mexico's National Seismological Service (SSN) reported. The quake hit at an intermediate depth of 82 km beneath the epicenter near Huetamo de Nuñez, Huetamo, Michoacan, Mexico, in the morning on Sunday 14 March 2021 at 11:45 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report. A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 4.3 earthquake as well.
