An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 occurred in the evening on Friday 16 April 2021 at 9:39 pm local time near Mikuni, Sakai, Fukui, Japan, as reported by Japan's National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED).
