Just 11 minutes ago, a 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck near Mawlaik, Mawlaik District, Sagaing Region, Myanmar (Burma). The tremor was recorded early morning on Tuesday 1 June 2021 at 1:49 am local time, at an intermediate depth of 80 km below the surface.
The event was filed by India's National Center for Seismology (NCS), the first seismological agency to report it.
