Small earthquake of magnitude 3.5 just reported 5 miles east of Watsonville, California, United States

Just 8 minutes ago, a 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck near Watsonville, Santa Cruz County, California, USA. The tremor was recorded early morning on Friday 11 June 2021 at 3:45 am local time, at a very shallow depth of 4.7 miles below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.5 as well.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Aromas (pop. 2,700) located 3 miles from the epicenter, Watsonville (pop. 53,600) 5 miles away, and Gilroy (pop. 53,200) 8 miles away.
