Moderate magnitude 4.4 earthquake 33 km southeast of Bucaramanga, Colombia

Just 23 minutes ago, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck near Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia. The tremor was recorded in the morning on Saturday 28 August 2021 at 7:37 am local time, at an intermediate depth of 148.6 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 4.4 earthquake as well.
