3.5 quake 28 Sep 5:51 pm (GMT -6)

An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 occurred only 9 minutes ago 47 miles northwest of Logan, Utah, United States, the United States Geological Survey reported.
The quake hit at a very shallow depth of 0.4 miles beneath the epicenter near Logan, Cache County, Utah, USA, in the afternoon on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021, at 5:51 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.5 as well.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake was probably felt by many people in the area of the epicenter. It should not have caused significant damage, other than objects falling from shelves, broken windows, etc.
In Snowville (pop. 170) located 2 miles from the epicenter, the quake should have been felt as light shaking.
Other towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Malad City (pop. 2,100) located 29 miles from the epicenter, Garland (pop. 2,400) 31 miles away, and Tremonton (pop. 8,200) 32 miles away. In Brigham City (pop. 18,800, 46 miles away), and Logan (pop. 50,400, 47 miles away), the quake was probably not felt.
