An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred early morning on Thursday, October 7th, 2021, at 5:01 am local time near Loralai, Loralai District, Balochistan, Pakistan, as reported by India's National Center for Seismology (NCS).
According to preliminary data, the quake was located at a shallow depth of 22 km. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
