Just 7 minutes ago, a 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck near Eureka, Humboldt County, California, USA. The tremor was recorded early morning on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021, at 4:29 am local time, at a shallow depth of 12 miles below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.7 as well.
