Magnitude 4.6 earthquake strikes near Chīrāla, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, India 4.6 quake 20 Oct 6:16 am (GMT +5) Just 17 minutes ago, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Chīrāla, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, India. The tremor was recorded early morning on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, at 6:16 am local time, at a shallow depth of 10 km below the surface.
The event was filed by India's National Center for Seismology (NCS), the first seismological agency to report it.
