The United States Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.0 quake in the United States near Hemet, Riverside County, California, only 7 minutes ago. The earthquake hit around noon on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021, at 12:11 pm local time at a shallow depth of 8.6 miles. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
