Moderate tremor of magnitude 4.1 just reported 87 km northwest of Zahedan, Iran 4.1 quake 14 Nov 4:11 pm (GMT +3:30) India's National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported a magnitude 4.1 quake in Iran near Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan, only 27 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early afternoon on Sunday, November 14th, 2021, at 3:41 pm local time at an intermediate to considerable depth of 150 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
According to preliminary calculations, we do not expect that the quake was felt by many people and did not cause any damage. In Noşratābād (pop. 4,200, 73 km away), and Zahedan (pop. 552,000, 87 km away), the quake was probably not felt.
