Just 14 minutes ago, a 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck near Warangal, Warangal Urban, Telangana, India. The tremor was recorded after midnight on Sunday, May 29th, 2022, at 12:07 am local time, at a shallow depth of 10 km below the surface.
The event was filed by India's National Center for Seismology (NCS), the first seismological agency to report it.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
