Small tremor of magnitude 3.2 just reported 46 miles north of Chickaloon, Alaska, United States
3.2 quake 6 Jun 3:55 am (GMT -8)

The United States Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.2 quake in the United States near Chickaloon, Matanuska-Susitna, Alaska, only 8 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early morning on Monday, June 6th, 2022, at 3:55 am local time at a moderately shallow depth of 22 miles. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake which listed the quake at magnitude 3.2 as well. A third agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), reported the same quake at magnitude 3.2.
According to preliminary calculations, we do not expect that the quake was felt by many people and did not cause any damage. In Chickaloon (pop. 270, 46 miles away), the quake was probably not felt.
