The United States Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.5 quake in the United States near McKinleyville, Humboldt County, California, only 10 minutes ago. The earthquake hit in the morning on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023, at 10:32 am local time at a shallow depth of 13 miles. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
