A shallow magnitude 3.1 earthquake was reported early morning near Paphos, Cyprus.
According to the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake, the quake hit on Monday, February 6th, 2023, at 6:02 am local time at a shallow depth of 13.4 km. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
