Moderate 4.1 quake hits near Mersin, Turkey
4.1 quake 13 Feb 1:59 pm (GMT +2)

Just 15 minutes ago, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck near Mersin, Turkey. The tremor was recorded around noon on Monday, February 13th, 2023, at 1:59 pm local time, at a shallow depth of 10 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake, the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the Kandilli Oservatory and Earthquake Research Institute in Istanbul (KOERI-RETMC) which listed the quake at magnitude 4.7. Other agencies reporting the same quake include the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) at magnitude 4.5, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) at magnitude 4.6, and the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) at magnitude 4.1.
