Just 16 minutes ago, a 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck near Wellington, Wellington City, New Zealand. The tremor was recorded after midnight on Monday, July 10th, 2023, at 12:11 am local time, at a shallow depth of 23.1 km below the surface.
The event was filed by New Zealand's Earthquake Commission and Geological Survey (GeoNet), the first seismological agency to report it.
