Just 10 minutes ago, a 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck near Papa, Veszprém megye, Hungary. The tremor was recorded early morning on Monday, October 16th, 2023, at 6:23 am local time, at a very shallow depth of 6 km below the surface.
The event was filed by The Seismological Survey of Serbia (SSS), the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake which listed the quake at magnitude 2.9.
