The Karnataka high court mandated an insurance company to provide increased compensation to the families of two victims from a tractor-trailer accident. The court overruled the insurer's claims concerning the driver’s license validity and insurance coverage. Both families will now receive higher compensation amounts, but with lowered interest rates.
