On July 9, 2024, the Camp Lejeune Fire and Emergency Services Division (FESD) successfully used their newly acquired small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) in a critical search operation for a missing child on Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
