Moderate 4.6 quake hits near Sungai Penuh, Jambi, Indonesia An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 occurred only 7 minutes ago 93 km south of Sungai Penuh, Indonesia, Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency reported.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 29. km beneath the epicenter near Sungai Penuh, Jambi, Indonesia, early morning on Monday, March 10th, 2025, at 1:29 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
