Small magnitude 2.3 quake hits 10 km northwest of Frontino, Colombia early morning

The Colombian Geological Service (SGC) reported a magnitude 2.3 quake in Colombia near Frontino, Antioquia, only 19 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early morning on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, at 2:08 am local time at a shallow depth of 16. km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake, which listed it as a magnitude 2.3 earthquake as well.
According to preliminary calculations, we do not expect that the quake was felt by many people and did not cause any damage.
