An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 occurred only 6 minutes ago 40 km southwest of Pozzuoli, Italy, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported.
The quake hit at a great depth of 379. km beneath the epicenter near Pozzuoli, Naples, Campania, Italy, around noon on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, at 1:36 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
According to preliminary calculations, we do not expect that the quake was felt by many people and did not cause any damage.
