Moderate magnitude 4.8 quake hits 66 km northeast of Tiakur, Indonesia early morning

The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported a magnitude 4.8 quake in Indonesia near Tiakur, Southwest Maluku Regency, Maluku, only 20 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early morning on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, at 3:43 am local time at a moderately shallow depth of 62. km.
