Cathy
What else can we expect from you? By any chance did you see that clown in France telling all Jews to leave France and Europe and move back to Israel?, Why don't you and your tribe move back where you came from and stop sucking this country dry with your fathers doctors surgeries sponging on Medicare?

roy4hire
If cathy is correct what she is trying to say is Rupert Murdoch is of Jewish descent, Michael Boulos is of Arabic descent (Egypt) My parents came from Egypt and I don't give a shit who you are as long as you treat me correctly. But if you don't I'm good for a good old Egyptian curse, and they stick too.
Phil

We just will have to wait and see and like I said before TARBS is dead, Mike Boulos 50% will not been seen again on the Pay TV arena, but who cares as long as Australia gets serviced again for all us Italians/Arabic/Spanish/Turks and the rest of the Nationalities that make this great country.
Phil

Make a stick up, go to Bunnings and buy a angle dangle metre, so you get a correct elevation "Example 20.88 In Brisbane" in Sydney its Around 19.5 Deg elevation, find out your Azimith, I made this stick up 1.5 M long with a small square on the end of it with the angle metre on it and the compass on top, you set it up for correct elevation,Azimith, and look at the stick with your eye, Bingo you will see whats in the way.
Remember this, WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY!!
No Guess work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Phil

Lazer
95% of cases of people that cant find the satellite is because of lack of experience, most try to find it with a new dish, new LNBF where they have no clue where the polarity is on it, they get confused because its a offset dish. If they don't have a satfinder they use a standard receiver, that doesn't help, in other words there are too many variables, its a needle in a haystack, with 6 haystacks.
Like I said before I have friends that play with dishes, they also tried and failed, tried and rang me still failed but out of the two friends with this problem both now have pictures. One had to have the dish moved 3.5M to miss a Fat section of a neighbours tree, the other was ok he couldn't understand that the Offset dish actually was looking 5 degrees down from level + he also got confused between NORTH and TRUE NORTH Or Magnetic North ( shit I get confused).
You will never find anything if you get the wrong north depending what your compass is.
I have shown people how to put an offset dish flat like a bird bath and it works 100%.
IF I lived near you I would help you and If I say you cant get it TRUST ME YOU CANT GET IT.
When I read forums where people say its a couple of inches to the left and a little bit down, you have to be joking, this is guess work. You have to be accurate, correctly polarised LNB, if using a receiver and then you will find it.
your going to spew when a mystery service starts soon.
Phil

There is always a possibility that you wont get it but it worth a go. A reasonably experienced guy with the right equipment will find it without using a sat finder or anything that has electricity going through it.
Again my finding tool is the best, Its a Straight 1.5M stick with a angle gravity meter and a compass on it, and I can put it on a tripod too. It takes me only 5 minutes to let you know if you can get it.
Its simple. I make it go up or down and stop at the elevation of NSS6 20.5 Deg, then I swing it around left and right and stop it where the compass tells me at 286deg, don't move it!!! then look at the entire length of the stick with your eye and thats where the Sat will be.
Like I said before with this home made gadget I was able to go back and forth on the roof till I found a Gap of no more then a metre between two FAT trees over 30 metres high and the trees were 100 metres away.
I'll tell you what I will do for you, I will take a photo of it and put it on the forum or I will email it to you.
Phil

phil you are going to confuse people that don`t undestand about dishes, people don`t know what you mean when you say 286 degrees.
here`s my tip; do a stick as phil mention ect.
take your local street directoryand look for your street and place it the same way, then move your dish to 95 degrees as were your street directory. dicline your dish to about 19 degrees and fine tune. from pas8 you have to move you`re dish east( to you`re left).
cheers.

I cant believe this, I cant put the image in the forum, other forums allow you to up load an image can you please email me and I will send it to you all.
Hummm the forum has a glitch, time for an upgrade.

Now all I want you to read this Carefully!!!!!!!!!!!
I read the above, whats 286? Help help help!!! Its hard to explain...the way it is done you go to Lyngsat.com, you look for satfinder, but before you do this, you must know your latitude and longitude where your house is (I have a GPS tracker). Now, I know you haven't got a GPS tracker so at least its good enough if you live in Sydney or Melbourne or Perth or Adelaide or Brisbane, find out the latitude and longitude of each capital city. Once you have that, you go to Lyngsat satfinder (you must have the latest Java otherwise the computer won't operate, most of the time it will ask you to download the latest version if you don't have it), once in satfinder, click the satellite you want to look for eg NSS6, you then click the point of the arrow as close as possible to your state and you compare the figures between latitude and longitude on Lyngsat to what you have written on your piece of paper. Keep playing with the mouse pointer until you get it as close as possible to what your state is eg.. Brisbane, when I get it as close as possible to my house/Brisbane eg Lyngsat shows where the pointer is aiming at 27.34, 152.31, and at the same time, it will give you the figures of the elevation and azimuth, position of NSS6 for the 27.34, 152.32 which is azimuth 286.31 and elevation of 20.88 degrees. So, all I do with the 286.31 and elevation of 20.88 is I grab my stick, I spin the compass around till it stops at the length of the stick 286, thats good enough and I lock it in that position. The elevation protractor, well as you lift it up and down, the elevation goes up and down, so what I do is go on the roof of the house, I move the tip of the stick up and down until I have my 20 degrees elevation, then I move my stick left and right until the north needle stops at north (remember that the 286 is aiming to the end of my stick), so once the needle is aiming to north the stick has to be aiming at 286 degrees, extremely very close, give or take a .2 here and there where the satellite is. Make sure while you are doing this that the elevation is still at its 20 degrees. When both figures are correct (the 20 degrees and the 286) just follow your eye on the end of the 1.5 metre stick, thats where the satellite is, give or take .2 of a degree here or there. Trust me, when we have a situation where the satellite is hiding in small gaps where you live, this stick is the best thing I have ever made. Just email me your email address and if you want, you can later give me your phone number and talking to you will be easier over the phone (after 7pm when its cheaper) as long as I don't have to ring too many up. I will say this again, my friend knows a bit about sat stuff, he gave up. I just went over to his place with my magic wand, walked up and down his roof, the entire length, looking at the elevation, looking at the azimuth whilst walking and when that big long stick aimed between those two big fat tree trunks, I stopped and put a mark on that tile directly below me. These two trees were massive. It wasn't the branches I was worried about, its the big fat trunks. They definitely would have wiped the signal out. The trees were approximately 150 metres away and the trees were only about 4 metres apart, so if you are on the roof of your house, you haven't got much to play with. Regarding new services on NSS6, yes they are still coming, could be slightly delayed until the end of September.
Phil

I suggest all you guys out there if and when new services start on NSS6 then you'd better pull your hair out to find NSS6.
I would like to say more but I will not until I'm allowed and if it does start don't forget that I was correct.
Phil smiling

[ 01. You can post anything image related, but it must be on the internet (a URL)..
