An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 occurred 31 minutes ago 4 miles northeast of Badger, Alaska, United States, the United States Geological Survey reported.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10.4 miles beneath the epicenter near Badger, Fairbanks North Star, Alaska, USA, in the evening on Thursday, June 25th, 2026, at 9:23 pm local time. Magnitude and other quake parameters can still change in the coming hours as the agency continues to process seismic data.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 3.1 earthquake as well.
