Webmaster Launch Director Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 678,977 Los Angeles, USA	Moderate magnitude 4.5 earthquake reported 89 km southwest of Pelabuhanratu, Indonesia A magnitude 4.5 earthquake near Pelabuhanratu, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Jawa Barat, Indonesia, was reported only 7 minutes ago by Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency, considered the main national agency monitoring seismic activity in Indonesia. The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 10. km beneath the epicenter around noon on Monday, October 12th, 2026, at 12:19 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review the data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their reports.
