Are you sure?? that would be great. I called UBI, TV+ and Mysat all said they are not going to bring Iranian channels.<br /> By the way what does Australian/ Iranian mean?? confusing!!!!!!

That is great! It would be great if they start in Feb, before world cup qualifying in Asia begins. I saw Globecast has Tapesh TV, NITV,....on their pakage in North America. Why not in Australia? This is the only way to watch quality persian programs and Iranian Soccer in Australia. I am confident they would have lots of costomers.

A birdie said Iranian TV service website will be availabe by the end of December 2004. I just heard on SBS persian-Farsi language program. More info tommorow on Radio 2ser 9:00 AM sydney time (in persian).

Bit expensive just for one channel

Romurs: They probably start last week of Feb free to air but will be encrypted in march. Iran_Bahrain soccer match will be broadcasted early Feb.<br /><br />Call the number. They love to talk to people(They are ready for long conversation!!!).

They are going to mix NITV and AFN programs(Lots of Politics and talking i would guess). It seems (maybe for sure)they are opponents of Tapesh TV(politically). AFN ia available on the net.

AFN is a TV owned by Ali Reza Meibodi. Tapesh was a bit more acceptable because doesn't go to extrem instead more entertainement.<br /><br />Hope at least they have lots of sport like soccer. Seems we are not very lucky yet!!!!

My dish is 70cm in diameter, I am using TARBS equipment.<br /><br />It is a nice day with lots of Australian day programs around the Canberra today. I have seen them. I'll try to call them and find out.<br />I am very disappointed that they are going to bring two brainwashing political channels. I can not pay for such low quality programs. I expected that they combine some programs from NITV(only good parts) and Tapesh. But I think They are living in 100 yeas ago and so closed_minded group(hope I am wrong).<br />I,ll find out anyway.

Let them make their business and see what they are up to. <br /><br />It seems they do not have a proper business plan. On one hand they want to be a community TV(as they say on the phone), and on the other hand they want to be a business to make money. This is similar to the cheating that Mullahs are doing to Iranian people inside Iran. Shedan,<br />Thanks for info.It is not possible for me at the moment because some very tall tree have surrounded my house. The installer said it is not possible.<br />When I move to sydney next year I'll try it. I have a house on top of the hill in Sydney.<br /><br />BTW Foxtell said they will bring Iranian TV. Also IRIB3 will be coming on cable soon.They have soccer and some good Serials but their political programs and news are full of lies. I have broadband and sometime watch it. Their programs has agood quality on the net(I have broadband) but the bit rate is very low for soccer matches. So, I am not happy to watch soccer on the net, I prefer TV.<br /><br />Also I prefer LA(US) Farsi TV rather IRIB3. Tapesh was the best for me. I just heard Tapesh 2 has started on Hotbird 4 on globecast banquet. I am wondering why globecast does not bring T2 on its banquet on Optus B3.<br /><br />They said on the phone that iPTR is going to bring US signals from Israel.Downlink in Israel and would be sent to Globecast in Australia.
