Microsoft's consumer chief marketing officer Yusuf Mehdi is leaving the company after 35 years, according to an internal memo first reported by Business Insider. The veteran executive, who launched everything from Windows 95 to Copilot Plus PCs, will work through the next fiscal year ending June 2027 to reimagine Windows for the "agentic era" before stepping away.
