Hi Frank,<P>Alan Fells of the ACCC is looking into the fact under Australian Law than Region Blocking is anti-competative trade practice.<P>As far as RCE titles playing in modified DVD players, basically if the player is modified, the RCE detects this and locks out the player. RCE titles are able to play in ONLY unmodified units.<P>However I have a Toshiba modified player there is a key sequence that bypasses the RCE and forces the disc to play.<P>As far as I am aware any DVD player as long as it is under 2 years old and modified in that time period, will play RCE titles, but you will have to find the key sequence(s) that are required for your player.
