Louise Hay certainly got the ball rolling for many people as she encouraged them to look at and within themselves, to discover how and maybe why they had a certain illness/condition.

You obviously found a therapy that worked for you at that time.
Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years in China, so has been thoroughly tried and tested to say the least.

Addressing core issues in health is also part of the holistic way. A bit like digging out the roots of a persistent weed, to stop it in it's tracks.

Having a balanced, positive outlook on all things does go a long way to maintaining health. I do realise it is not always easy to be able to do this at times, when life seems to be throwing so many balls into your hands to juggle all at once, something usually has got to give. juggle and it is usually your health that declines. crying

Taking responsibility for ones own health is the first step. learning to listen to what your body is trying to tell you and responding immediately is the next.
Seeking and receiving the correct therapy/treatment is the last.
