I find the idea of orbs to be spirit larvae an intriguing point of view (so thanks for sharing, Dawn). scratchchin

My twocents . . .

Orbs are an enigma to me overall. One of my best spirit captures was the clear image of Mulligan in the center of a large orb, or circle of spirit material. But even at the time, I felt that something else was facilitating the appearance of Mulligan inside the orb material. Meaning, that I think it is likely the orb itself was not Mulligan.

Orbs have smiled, and appeared in greater numbers and brighter when requested, so I feel sure they are conscious with good will. I have seen orb with faces of all sorts inside. However, I have come to realize that nature mimics us. From reading Hodson I see that gnomes, etc., would mimic him sometimes while he was observing them, creating shoes on their own feet to match his sometimes, or materializing a picnic basket like his. So orbs may be nature spirits reflecting to us what they see around them.

My latest theory is that orbs are to spirit as cells or clusters of cells are to a physical body. They are alive, contributing, independently conscious sub-entities of a larger spirit. So there can be human orbs, animal orbs, tree orbs, etc. Perhaps orbs also exist entirely independently, hence being somewhat larvae-ish, or rather, existing as a smaller entity group of one or more.

I remain open to learning more about orbs. I couldn't possibly conclude exactly what they are at this stage with such a complex issue and so many factors to consider. I just keep thinking about them and looking at them, theorizing, marveling. magnify

As a side note, since I have not been reaching out to orbs recently (over the last 6 months probably), they only make rare appearances in my photos, unlike before when I was fascinated with them and could rarely get a photo without them. So I am sure that intent (for me anyway) is connected to how much I experience of orbs and other spirits.
