Part of me thinks, based on the description of the scenario, that this is of alien origin for sure. However, the photos are uncharacteristically clear and the parts are printed with manufacturing type symbols/characters, that though quite cryptic to my eyes, seem like an earthly manufacturing practice, but hey, could be alien as well. alien
