I don't think that there would be any loss of interest due to Dave's passing, it would be due to the program itself regrettably.

The new systems and video cards no longer have the old code that STSPlus uses, so it will stop working. I am afraid because of that alone, the end is very near for STSPlus.

Since the software code was never released, work to upgrade it with the new video code, will never happen.
