Waking up in a dream. thumbup I find it fascinating when that happens.

Sounds precognitive to me that you dreamed you opened the food upon waking and put it away for lunch. Then in waking life you actually opened the food at lunch time. Have I got this right? eyebrow

I have had little precognitive episodes in dreams. Sometimes over the most minor things. Your dream reminds me of a lucid dream I had a couple of years ago.

During the dream I was triggered to realize I was dreaming, which is always exciting, though rare, because I get to explore the dream scene with my waking consciousness. I decided to find something to eat to see if it would taste and feel like eating in real life. [Linked Image] I was inside a shopping mall and the first shop I could see was a coffee shop, not my first choice in taste treats, but there was no one attending it and they had some thick sandwich cookies with inches of a cream in the centre. I took one and started eating it, waiting for the sensation to become apparent. Strangely, it was licorice flavoured, but somewhat vague in the way it tasted and felt. Not the same as "real". *End of dream.*

The next day I made some pre-packaged microwave popcorn that was caramel flavoured and made with a sugar substitute. It smelled nice while popping, but the flavour was very artificial. It reminded me of eating the licorice cookie in my dream (it hinted at reality, but was not quite right), as if the dream cookie experience was precognitive of the caramel popcorn experience. infinity
