If you’ve ever had to break up with a bestie, you know it hurts just as much as a romantic breakup. It’s not for nothing that more and more people are using Tinder-like apps to find friendships; making new friends as a grown woman can be downright difficult.

In the BuzzFeed sketch above, we get an all-too realistic look at what it’s like to drift apart from a good friend or roommate and then find out you’ve been replaced by someone new. 

The video includes all the familiar details: awkwardly hiding when you see your former friend in public, drafting a text to your ex-bestie, but stopping short of pressing send.
