Abstract: A recent experiment at NASA Ames Research Center’s Vertical Motion Simulator (VMS) successfully combined a real-time, human in-the-loop architecture with the flexibility of operating in the Simulink® graphical model-based engineering environment. The VMS is a large amplitude flight simulator designed to be adaptable to provide rapid integration and development of a wide variety of vehicles and support diverse aeronautical investigations. Math models are often programmed in Simulink. Typically... Source: Piloted Full-Motion Simulation with Simulink®
