I've spent four long years growing roots in this town
and had nought but acquaintances - you'd think I'd be down.
But the solitude time is for growing - it's good.
And now friends are appearing as fast as they should.
I treasure the friends I have all round the earth
and delight in our sharing of wisdom and mirth.
Aarrggh - couldn't rhyme decently with world or globe!!thank heavens for earth!
